Whimsy Stamps - Pip

I'm sharing a shaped card as part of the Digital Diva's DT for Whimsy Stamps .

I cut the apple shaped card on my ScanNCut and made an inky backgrouns using Distress Oxies. I then did some stamping using the criss cross background stamp from the Distressed BG and Inksplats set. It's very subtle but effective. I stamped the sweet from the Gnome set randomly over the background. I added some white paint splatters and doodled around the edge. Once I coloured Pip with my Copic markers I fussy cut her out and grounded her on a piece of card embossed with the Thatched embossing folder. I finished with the Too Sweet sentiment from the  Happy Headlines set.

Vera Lane Studio - Esmee In Paris

Happy Saturday!

Today I'm sharing my Vera Lane Studio DT project featuring this week's new release called Esmee In Paris which is available from the Etsy shop.

I've made a simple little postcard. I brayered the Lapis and Ruby paint down either side of the postcard leaving the middle white. A quick French flag background!

I then added some of Janet's washi tape for AALL and Create which was perfect as it's French words. Next I stamped randomly using the X or O stamp set. I then doodled around the edge with my black fineliner. Some white paint splats to finish off the background.

I added the beret to Esmee, coloured her with my Copic markers and fussy cut her out. I positioned her in the middle of the postcard on the white panel.

Ooh La La!

Tres Chic!

I added some white glitter card for the snow and cut out the Sue Wilson trees with it too.
I stamped the sentiment and heat embossed it with white embossing powder.

Whimsy Stamps - Cinnamon With Sunflower

I'm delighted to have been asked by the lovely Wends to be a Digital Diva for Whimsy Stamps for the next few months.

I've made a slimline card featuring Cinnamon With Sunflower. I wanted to make an inky background so got out my Distress Oxides and had some fun with autumn colours. I cut out the base panel with the Slimline Card Builder die and embossed with the Thatched embossing folder. I cut the top panel with the Slimline Marquee die and popped it on 3D foam for dimesion. I coloured the image with my Copics and adhered her on the right. I printed the Autumn sentiment on my PC and cut out with the Zig Zag Rectangles dies. The Hello was tiny alphabet stickers and some dewdrops to finish off.

Vera Lane Studio - Crush

Happy Saturday!

Today I'm sharing my Vera Lane Studio DT project featuring this week's soft release called Crush which is available from the Etsy shop.

I've made a pair of tags this week. The background is the smooshing technique using Distress Oxides  and stamped with Tracy Evans Heart Grunge and Heartfelt stamps. I coloured the hearts with my Magenta Ecoline Pen. I sprinkled some frantage and heat embossed it and splattered some white piant. I coloured the images with my copic markers and fussy cut them out then adhered them to the tags.

Vera Lane Studio - Useful Quotes

Happy Saturday!

Today I'm sharing my Vera Lane Studio DT project featuring this week's soft release called Useful Quotes which is available from the Etsy shop. I've paired it with an older set called Pleiades.

I've made a slimline card this week. I blended distress oxides in Salty Ocean, Chipped Sapphire and Black Soot in order starting from the centre and working outwards. I then stamped the #468 Scripted Stars in Chipped Sapphire and then when it was dry I overstamped it with my Versamark ink pad and clear embossed it with WOW Clear Gloss embossing powder. I used my Tim Holtz stamping platforn to get it perfectly lined up. I spritzed some water over the background and dried it off. Then I flicked some watered down Paperartsy Snowflake white paint over the background with my fan paint brush. Using my white gel pen I added some white sparkles.

Once the background was finished I printed out the sentiment quote and image and coloured her with my Copic markers, adding some white dots to her dress. I then fussy cut her out along with the stars. To finish off I added a piece of washi tape and adhered her to the background along with the quote.

Crafts Galore Encore - September Challenge

As it's the first of the month, today I'm sharing my DT card for Crafts Galore Encore.

For August it's another anything goes challenge.

The sponsor this month is All Dressed Up Stamps and the prize is 2 digi stamps from their store.

I've made a slimline card featuring Beret Girl from All Dressed Up Stamps. I coloured her with my Copic markers and cut her out.

I added some Candied Apple and Prize Ribbon distress oxides to my glass mat and spritzed with some water. I then smooshed my card in each colour separately drying between each colour.

Next I stamped the script stamp randomly using Versafine Clair Nocturne. I cut out the Eiffel Tower SVG on my ScanNCut in black card and adhered it to the background. I then cut it out using the slimline stitched rectangle dies.

I then added the washi tape from AALL & Create on both sides (luckily the words were French) and fixed the Beret Girl in place. To finish off I added the Merci sentiment which I printed on my PC.

Ooh La La!
