It was Frida Kahlo's birthday on the 6th July so I used this fantastic new image from Vera Lane Studio called Frida Dee. She has fabulous flowers in her hair! I coloured her with my copic markers and fussy cut her out. 

The taqueria was an svg cut file from Dreaming Tree that I cut using my ScanNCut. Frida Dee decided she needed some tacos...lol. I'm sure a few tequilas will be drunk too.

Crafts Galore Encore - September Challenge

As it's the first of the month, today I'm sharing my DT card for Crafts Galore Encore.   

For August it's another anything goes challenge.

 The sponsor this month is All Dressed Up Stamps and the prize is 2 digi stamps from their store.

I've made a slimline card featuring Beret Girl from All Dressed Up Stamps. I coloured her with my Copic markers and cut her out.

I added some Candied Apple and Prize Ribbon distress oxides to my glass mat and spritzed with some water. I then smooshed my card in each colour separately drying between each colour.

Next I stamped the script stamp randomly using Versafine Clair Nocturne. I cut out the Eiffel Tower SVG on my ScanNCut in black card and adhered it to the background. I then cut it out using the slimline stitched rectangle dies.

I then added the washi tape from AALL & Create on both sides (luckily the words were French) and fixed the Beret Girl in place. To finish off I added the Merci sentiment which I printed on my PC.

Digital Guest Designer - Whimsy Stamps

 I'm delighted to have been asked by the lovely Wends to be a Digital GDT for Whimsy Stamps for the month of July.

For my third and final project I've made a slimline card using Hipster Mae. 

I printed out one of the Whimsy Stamps Hearts A Flutter digi papers and cut it out with the Whimsy Stamps Slimline Card Builder die. I coloured the Some Odd Girl Hipster Mae for Whimsy Stamps digi image and added highlights with my white gel pen. I then fussy cut her out. Next using the Slimline Coffee Cup SVG from Simply Crafty SVG, I cut it out on my ScanNCut. I adhered the digi paper to my card base and then added the slimline coffee cup. After that I added my fussy cut digi image and added the Thanks A Latte sentiment from the digi image set to finish off.
