Sweet Stampin' Challenge

Saturday and time for another

Sweet Stampin' Challenge

The theme from Team Wendy is

Inspired By A Fairytale

I've made a tag using the Stamping Bella Oddball Queen Of Hearts. I absolutely love the oddballs. I coloured her with copic markers and fussy cut her out. I sprinkled some Lindy's Magicals from the Mad Hatter set called Queen Of Hearts Red funnily enough! I then spritzed then with water and moved the colour around.
Once it was dry, I stamped the Fragile Fragments stamp in Versafine Clair Nocturne black. I added some random stamping using one of the stamps from the Visual Ingredients stamp set. I then added some crackle accents which gives a fantastic effect when dry. I adhered the image to the tag and added the sentiment and red fibres to finish off.

Vera Lane Studio - Crush

Happy Saturday!

Today I'm sharing my Vera Lane Studio DT project featuring this week's soft release called Crush which is available from the Etsy shop.

I've made a pair of tags this week. The background is the smooshing technique using Distress Oxides  and stamped with Tracy Evans Heart Grunge and Heartfelt stamps. I coloured the hearts with my Magenta Ecoline Pen. I sprinkled some frantage and heat embossed it and splattered some white piant. I coloured the images with my copic markers and fussy cut them out then adhered them to the tags.
I finished them off with the sentiments from the set.

Vera Lane Studio - Superheros

Happy Saturday!

Today I'm sharing my Vera Lane Studio DT project featuring this week's soft release called Superheros which is available from the Etsy shop.

I've made two tags this week using the Sam Poole Tattered Tags die.

For the first tag I used Superman. I coloured him with my Copic markers and fussy cut him out.I used the #126 Lotza Starz stencil and Liquitex light modelling paste and added some textured stars to the tag. Next I spritzed Prize Ribbon and Festive Berries distress oxides on my glass mat and smooshed the tag in each colour separately drying in between. I also stamped #485 Reverse Stars randomly using Prize Ribbon, Festive Berries and Versafine Clair Cheerful. I adhered a scrap piece of yellow zig zag paper and punched out a couple of stars from it. I then adhered Superman and the sentiment which I printed on my PC. I finished off by adding the two yellow stars.

For the second tag I used Spiderman. I also coloured him with my Copic markers and fussy cut him out. I used the same tag die cut as the first and the same smooshing technique only with Black Soot as well. I then stamped the circles from #338 Background Noise randomly with Versafine Clair Nocturne.Next I added the spider web die cuts using the Cheery Lynn corner die. I used the word fun from the washi tape and added it near the bottom of the tag. I then added Spiderman with some black netting behind him. To finish off I added the sentiment from the set.

Crafts Galore Encore June Challenge

As it's the first of the month, today I'm sharing my DT card for Crafts Galore Encore.

For June it's another anything goes challenge.

The sponsor this month is Fred She Said and the prize is a $10 gift voucher.

I decided to make a tag this month as my DT project. I used the Creative Expressions Sam Poole Tattered Tags and cut out the tag in kraft card and Nitwit Collections patterned paper. I added a strip of hessian near the bottom of the tag and adhered a button to it. I then printed and coloured this sweet image called Nolan And The Bullfrog with my copic markers. I added some highlights with my white gel pen. I then fussy cut out the image and adhered him on the hessian.

Next I cut out the Whimsy stamps Awesome sentiment in green card and added it to the left side of the tag. I cut some lengths of ribbon and twine and added them to the hole at the top of the tag. To finish off I added a frog brad.

Vera Lane Studio - December

Happy Saturday!

Today I'm sharing my Vera Lane Studio DT project featuring December which is available in the Vera Lane Studio Etsy shop.

I coloured her with my copic markers adding some knitted effect to her headband with a pink Prismacolor pencil. I also added some clear Wink Of Stella to her hair to give it some icy sparkle.

I die cut my tag using the MFT stitched tags die and inked it with Spun Sugar Distress Oxide using my blending brush. I then inked the circles from the AALL And Create #338 Background Noise with my Versamark clear ink pad and then added some opaque white WOW embossing powder and heat embossed it.

I punched the tiny snowflakes using a punch and glue them to the tag. I then splattered some Molotow white acrylic pain over the whole tag.

Next I adhered my image in the bottom right corner and the sentiment to the top left.

To finish off I added a pink seam binding bow.

Vera Lane Studio - Just Jump

Today I'm sharing my Vera Lane Studio DT project featuring Just Jump which is available in the Vera Lane Studio Etsy shop.

There are two versions of the girl in the set. One with a plain suit and one with plaid. Being Scottish I had to use the plaid version and make it tartan. I coloured her with copic markers and made her suit green and purple. I then added some white stripes using my white gel pen to give it a more tartan look. I also gave her red curly hair. Another Scottish stereotype...lol.

I cut out the tag using my MFT tag dies. I spritzed some Salty Ocean and Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxides on my glass mat and smooshed the top half of the tag in it. I then did the same with Twisted Citron, Lucky Clover and Rustic Wilderness on the bottom half of the tag this time.

I then stamped the circles from AALL And Create #338 Background Noise in Rustic Wilderness at the bottom and Blueprint Sketch at the top. I also stamped the AALL And Create #434 Newsprint Numbers in the same colours top and bottom. I then used one of the scripts from Background Noise and stamped it in Versafine Clair Nocturne around the edges. I stamped the clouds from the AALL And Create #257 Lil'Magic stamp set and added to the sky.

To finish off I added the sentiment from the set.

Sweet Stampin' Challenge

Saturday and time for another
Sweet Stampin' Challenge
The theme from Team Wendy is
Anything Goes
with the option of
World Oceans Day
(nautical/sea/ocean themed)

I absolutely adore puffins and so when I seen these super cute stamps from Alpaca Pals by Tracey Hey I just had to buy them (as you do!)
I wanted to go with a Scottish puffin so paper pieced the black parts with black tartan paper. I coloured the rest with my Copic markers.
I cut out my tag from white card and embossed a panel to fit on it. I watercoloured over it with some Light Blue to give a water effect. I mounted the puffins with 3D foam pads on the bottom right corner. I cut a panel of black card to fit my card base and doodled around the edge with my white gel pen and added the tag to it with 3D foam pads. I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment in white on the black card and doodled around it with the white gel pen too. I then added iy to my card on the left. I added some black ribbon and a button to the top of the tag. Some blue sequins to finish it off.

I really do love those puffins! (with a Scottish twist)

I added some green card and stripey red card to give the tag an elf look I also added the red ruffle and belt. I then went round it with a white gel pen giving a faux stitch look. A little bit of red twine in a bow and some jingle bells to add some fun. Finished it off with the mini alphabet letters which are self adhesive.

For my card tag I've used this cute gingerbread girl digi stamp that's from a set of three called Ginger Set from Pink Gem Designs I've coloured her with my Copic markers.
