Time For Tea Designs - Magazine Feature

Thursday and time for another Time For Tea DT post.

The lovely Jo at Time For Tea Designs was asked to feature in the November issue of Simply Cards and Papercraft. I was lucky to have had two of my cards chosen for the feature. My card today is one of them.
If you pick up a copy of the magazine you'll be able to download the digital stamps  for your own use.

We were given this colour palette to work with.

I used one of the girls with a snowball, the snowman and some of the accessories for my card. I made it a long landscape card. The images are coloured with my copic markers.
I've used papers from Nitwit Collections called Woodland Wishes which were the perfect colours for the colour palette. I used the Poppystamps Stitched Poinsettia Trio and cut it out of some lovely matching cardstock and added the stamens. The foliage and words are from Tim Holtz dies.

Sweet Stampin' Challenge

Saturday and another new challenge at

This week the last theme from Team Abi is
Sparkle And Glitz

This is the last challenge for Abi as she steps down from running Sweet Stampin'
She's been a fantastic leader and will be missed by all the SS Team. We all wish her well for the future.
I've used this gorgeous Stamping Bella Uptown girl for my card. She's called Wilma Loves Wine. Perfect for those girly cards. I used gorgeous rose gold glitter card and papers from Nitwit Collections called Dress Shoppe. They match beautifully. I coloured her with my copics and gave her some lovely rose wine. Her dress I paper pieced. I used the papers to cut out the bow and the fab Stitched Blooms flowers. Some glossy accents added to some punched glitter card circles to finish off.

Time For Tea Designs - New Release

Thursday and time for another Time For Tea DT post.
I'm using another robin from one of the 2 November new releases.
This is Robin With Mistletoe from the Season's Tweetings  collection. I've coloured him with my Copic markers. I added the sentiment below from the collection and printed it all at together with the robin. I then cut him out using the wrapped stitched circle dies. I printed out the mistletoe paper from the Christmas Linen collection from Nitwit Collections. I also printed out the mistletoe digi stamp that's part of the Season's Tweetings collection and coloured it with copics. I then mounted it with 3d foam pads and added the tartan bow. I then added white Nuvo drops to all the mistletoe berries.

Time For Tea Designs - New Release

Time for another Time For Tea DT post.
It's also time for the November release and there's  2 new digi collections.

For my card I'm using the Jolly Robin and added the santa hat to him. I've coloured him with my Copic markers. For the knitted effect I followed the tutorial on  Cartway Cards Blog.
The colouring on kraft card with Prismacolor pencils is absolutely amazing. I lay down the colour with my Copics first and used my Prismacolor pencil to do the knitted effect. It wasn't bad for a first attempt. The white bits on his hat have Glamour Dust on but it's not showing. The paper is from a pad called Little Red Robin. Perfect name for the image!I cut the circle out twice and layered it up at the bottom and added the button with some twine through it. I added some red pearls round it too. Finished it off with the sentiments from the Digi Collection.

Sweet Stampin' Challenge

Saturday and another new challenge at

This week the theme from Team Abi is
Trees

For my card tag I've used this cute gingerbread girl digi stamp that's from a set of three called Ginger Set from Pink Gem Designs I've coloured her with my Copic markers. I covered the white tag in patterned paper and inked the edge with Iced Spruce Distress Ink. I printed out the LOTV Gingerbread recipe and adhered it to the tag. I mounted the Gingerbread girl on foam pads and added her too. I tied a bow with the seam binding and added it to the top of the tag. The Trees are part of the garland she's holding.

Time For Tea Designs - Christmas Stocking

Thursday again and my Time For Tea Designs DT card for today.

Time for the Christmas cards to start being made. For my card I've used Christmas Stocking which is available as a red rubber stamp in the Time For Tea Designs Etsy shop.
I've coloured her with Copics and added glitter to her dress. I did her hair like a silvery grey and added some glitter pen lines to make it sparkle. I cut out a circle shaped card so I could make it look like a bauble. The top of the bauble was cut out of silver sparkle card on my ScanNCut.
I cut the poinsettia out of blue cardstock with an adhesive sheet on top  and added the glitter and some small silver beads. The words are Tim Holtz and were done the same as the poinsettia. Some ribbon to finish it off.
