Sweet Stampin' Challenge

 Saturday and time for another

Sweet Stampin' Challenge

The theme from Team Wendy is
Spring Mood Board

I've made a 6x6 journal page using this fab Bee Gnome digi stamp from KLM Digital Designs. I coloured him with my copic markers and cut him out. I added some highlights with my white gel pen.
For the background I added some Squeezed Lemonade and Spiced Marmalade distress oxides to my glass mat and spritzed with water. I then smooshed the card in it until I was happy with it.
I then brayed my hexagonal stencil with Paperartsy Snowflake white paint and spritzed with water lightly. I placed it on the background and pressed down for a few minutes.

I then used the AALL & Create #383 Scripted Haxagons stamp and stamped randomly around the edge using Versafine Clair Nocturne ink. Next up I used my black Posca pen to add some black ink splatters. To finish off I added the sentiment and used my black fineliner pen around it to make it stand out.

Sweet Stampin' Challenge

Saturday and time for another

The theme from Team Wendy is
Fairies And Fantasy

I used this super cute Busy Little Bee digital stamp from All Dressed Up. Isn't she lovely?
I coloured her with my copic markers. I used Nitwit Collections papers from the Bee-Lightful collection which are perfect for a bee theme. I matted the yellow bee paper onto some black cardstock. I then punched the black honeycomb paper with my scallop Stampin' Up punch and added it across the card. I die cut the honeycomb using a Sizzix Tim Holtz die in black and added it to the top left corner. I then matted the image onto some black cardstock and added it to the card. Next I printed the sentiment on my PC and die cut it using the Memory Box Wrapped Stitched circle die and matted it onto some black. I then added it using some 3D foam tape. I finished with the little yellow flower and some yellow and black pearls.

Sweet Stampin' Challenge

Saturday and time for another
Sweet Stampin' Challenge

The theme from Team Wendy is
Animals

It's World Animal Day on October the 4th, so let us see your projects featuring Animals as the focus.

I coloured up this adorable rhino dressed as a bee from Tracey Hey. The set is called Rhino Rascals.
I added some clear Wink Of Stella to his wings for some sparkle.
I layered the papers which were from the Nitwit Collections Beelightful set. I cut out the Memory Box heart frame die in black card and adhered it to my card. I then added my coloured image. I stamped the sentiments using another Tracey Hey stamp set. This time it was Rocking The Wreath.
Two black dewdrops to finish it off.

He's just the bees knees!

Time For Tea Designs - Sneaky Peek

Thursday and time for another Time For Tea DT post.

I missed last weeks post as I had a nasty vomiting bug. All better now though, so today I'm super excited to be sharing a sneaky peek of  new stamps and dies that will be available on Create and Craft TV next week on the 6th. Don't forget to tune in to see Jo demonstrating all the new stamps and dies.
These stamps are called
Bee Happy
The have coordinating dies, and there is also and extra set of hexagon dies and a honeycomb stencil

I inked the backround using Squeezed Lemonade and Spiced Marmalade Distress Oxides. I then spritzed the honeycomb stencil with water and placed it down on the inked panel and pressed down with a clean sheet of paper. I removed the stencil and the water had lifted the ink from where the stencil was.
I cut the panel out with my Wrapped Stitched Rectangles. I stamped the little bee and coloured it with my Copic markers. I then cut it out using the coordinating dies. I stamped the little stitched heart and mounted the been on 3D foam tape beside it.
I stamped and coloured the honeypot and mounted it with 3D foam tape.
Next I stamped one of the sentiments and cut it out with my banner dies. I finished it with some little hearts stamped in Spiced Marmalade ink and some clear Wink Of Stella on the bee wings.
