Vera Lane Studio - La Belle Vie

Happy Easter Saturday!

Today I'm sharing my Vera Lane Studio DT project featuring La Belle Vie which is available from the Etsy shop.

I've made a little plaque from lollipop sticks for my project today. I glued 7 together at the back using 2 smaller lollipop sticks, and gave it a light wash of white acrylic paint.

I took my Twisted Citron distress oxide spray and gave it a few bursts over the plaque. I then used AALL & Create #103 Pebble Pile stencil and sponged lightly through it with Rustic Wilderness distress oxide. I then stamped #471 Scripted Ovals and the numbers from #338 Background Noise randomly in Versafine Clair Nocturne ink. Then added some Violet and White paint splatters using my Posca pens.

Next I cut a strip of white corrugated card and coloured it with some green copics to represent grass and adhered it across the plaque near the bottom.

I printed out the girl and multiples of her flowers and coloured them with my copics and cut them out. I added some white highlights with my gel pen.

I had some white mini fencing so cut it down and glued some of the flowers to the front of it. I then adhered it just above the grass on the right side. I then adhered the girl to the middle and the other flowers to the left. To finish off I doodled around the sentiment with my black fineliner and adhered it to the plaque.

Now just to display it in The Crafty Cabin!
