Sweet Stampin' Challenge

 Saturday and time for another

Sweet Stampin' Challenge

The theme from Team Wendy is

Birthdays

It just so happens to be Sweet Stampin's 12th Birthday too!

I've used this gorgeous cupcake from the Sheepski Designs Coffee And Cake Digi set. I printed it quite large and cut a third of it off so I could have it on the edge of my card. I then coloured it with my copic markers and used my white gel pen to add some highlights.

I printed the sentiment where I wanted it to sit and then inked around a large doily using Spun Sugar distress oxide and then around the edge of the card.
I adhered the image in place and added some pink nuvo drops in different sizes.

Sweet Stampin' Challenge

Saturday and another new challenge at

This week the theme from Team Abi is
Dies/Punches

I've used this fab Topsy Turvy Cake image for my card this week. I've coloured it as always with my Copics. I punched 4 different colours of card using the SU scalloped punch and layered them together. I adhered them to the left side of my card and then matted the cake image. I doodled round the edge of the card with my fine liner pen and added some different coloured Nuvo drops to finish.

Sweet Stampin' Challenge

Saturday and another new challenge at

This week the theme from Team Abi is
Birthday's Or Make It A Remake

Let us see your birthday cards or remake a previous card.

For my card I've used this sweet Tiddly Ink image called Wryn Eat Cake.
I coloured her with my Copics and added some clear Wink Of Stella to the icing on her cake.
The papers are from Nitwit  Collections and are called Daisy. I printed the sentiment on my PC and added it to a fishtail banner. I tied a bow in the bakers twine and the seam binding and layered them up. Lastly I coloured the middle of the flower yellow to look like a daisy.

Card For A Special Lady

Sorry I've been MIA for the last week, but I've been really busy what with,Halloween parties, getting my scrapbook class sorted and doing commissioned cards,I've had no time to do much else.I didn't even know I'd won the Sketch Saturday challenge from last week, until I saw the message from Sharon. So thanks Sharon for letting me know.
I also had a card to make for a special lady.I know she's already received the card so I can post it.My good friend and bloggy buddy Kath has her birthday today. So pop over to her fantastic blog and wish her a happy day.Kath makes the most amazing cards. For my card I actually did cut up my beloved Melissa Frances papers.I've stroked them lovingly for a long time, but decided that the time had come to use them.Believe you me,only Kath was worth the cutting...lol.I find them really hard to get here and I just adore them. The image is from a Stampin'Up Hostess Set called Oh,So Lovely.I stamped the background
mesh a few times and then masked the main flower and stamped it a few times at different levels.Coloured with copic markers.I also hand stitched (gasp!) round the edge of the card, after using my Cutter Bee Bug of course to make the holes.

Cardstock - Bazzill
Image and Background Stamp - SU Oh,So Lovely
Medium - Copic Markers
Ink - Versafine Vintage Sepia,Tim Holtz Distress Ink Antique Linen
Papers - Melissa Frances

Well I'm off to another concert again tonight.Shinedown this time.(told you I was getting to be a groupie in my old age...lol)Really looking forward to this one as they're a fab band.
I'll also be hoping to catch up with everyone,to see what lovely crafty creations you've all been making.Hope everyone has a great weekend, whatever you're doing.
