Whimsy Stamps - Gnome Pumpkin Peeking

I'm sharing a card today featuring this cute Gnome Pumpkin Peeking as part of the Digital Diva's DT for Whimsy Stamp.

 I matted the spider web paper from the Vintage Halloween paper pack onto some green card and added a strip of the stripey paper across the bottom. I coloured the Gnome Pumpkin Peeking digi stamp with my copic markers and gave him a stripey hat to match the paper. I stamped the Boo! from the Going Batty stamp set and then cut it out using the stitched and pierced circle die. I spritzed some muslin cloth with Antique Linen distress oxide spray and when it was dry I adhered it to the card on the right and added the image on top. I offset it off the edge and trimmed it straight.

I love all the Whimsy Gnomes!

Gingham/Plaid

 

I decided to make a slimline card using the Slimline Check die from Lisa Horton. I cut the checked die twice in red and white card. I glued them together slightly offset. I then glued it to the blue base. I then adhered it to the white card base.

Next I coloured the fab Gnome Tower from Twistoon making the gnomes red, white and blue to make the plaid. I added some white highlights with my gel pen. Next I adhered them to the card with 3D foam pads and finished it with the sentiment from Stamping Bella.

Crafts Galore Encore April Challenge

As it's the first of the month, today I'm sharing my DT card for Crafts Galore Encore.   

For April it's another anything goes challenge.

The sponsor this month is Babycakes DND  and the prize is 2 digi stamps.

 I decided to go with a slimline card this month. I added some Shaded Lilac and Wilted Violet Distress Oxides to my glass mat and spritzed with water. I then smooshed my card panel in it until I got the desired effect. I then used a diamond stencil and applied Paperartsy Snowflake white paint to it. Using it as a stamp I pressed down over the inked area.

I then stamped one of the stamps from the AALL & Create set #453 Heart grunge in Versafine Clair Nocturne and Monarch randomly over the panel.Next I stamped using #304 Heartfelt using the Monarch ink.

 I moved on to stamping the large heart in the Heart Grunge set onto purple tartan paper and cut it out. I then adhered it to the card.

I printed out the gnome and paper pieced his hat and hearts with the purple tartan paper. I then coloured him with copics, adding shading to the paper pieced parts. I then added some highlights with my white gel pen.

I splattered some white paint over the panel using a white paint pen and adhered the gnome to it. I finished by stamping the LOVE sentiment from the Heart Grunge set and added it to the card.

Spring Mood Board

 

 I've made a 6x6 journal page using this fab Bee Gnome digi stamp from KLM Digital Designs. I coloured him with my copic markers and cut him out. I added some highlights with my white gel pen.

For the background I added some Squeezed Lemonade and Spiced Marmalade distress oxides to my glass mat and spritzed with water. I then smooshed the card in it until I was happy with it.

I then brayed my hexagonal stencil with Paperartsy Snowflake white paint and spritzed with water lightly. I placed it on the background and pressed down for a few minutes.

I then used the AALL & Create #383 Scripted Haxagons stamp and stamped randomly around the edge using Versafine Clair Nocturne ink. Next up I used my black Posca pen to add some black ink splatters. To finish off I added the sentiment and used my black fineliner pen around it to make it stand out.

Crafts Galore Encore January Challenge

Happy New Year!

Today I'm delighted to share my first project for Crafts Galore Encore. I'm so excited to join this wonderful team. 

For January it's another anything goes challenge.

The sponsor this month is Sheepski Designs and the prize is 3 digi stamps.

 

I chose to use this fantastic gnome image called Giant Daisies.

Anyone who knows me knows that I'm a mega gnome fan. I can't count how many images and stamps I've got, so they were perfect for me. I coloured them with my copic markers, adding some highlights with my white gel pen and die cut them out using my Memory Box Wrapped Stitched circles.

I matted my Nitwit Collections Enchanting papers onto my card blank and added my die cut image. I then die cut out the Lawn Fawn Thanks script die x3 and glued them together to add some dimension. I popped this in the bottom right of my card. I finished off with 3 pearls.

Last Minute Christmas

 

I've used this super cute Gingerbread Nordic Gnome from ScrapflowerEStudio for my card. I coloured him with my copic markers in gingerbread colours. I also printed out a few more of the gingerbread man on his hat to add to the card.

I wanted to give the impression of gingerbread with white icing so decided to make the card with kraft and doodle with my white gel pen. I cut a slimline card and also the Whimsy Scenic Window slimline die from kraft. Once I had adhered the window panel I used my white gel pen to doodle all around it. The central panel I embossed white snowflakes using white WOW embossing powder. I also added one to the gnome's hat.

I added the gnome and the mini gingerbread men to the card. To finish off I embossed the Whimsy stamps sentiment in white embossing powder and added it to the card.

I really love this kraft and white look!

Christmas In July

 

I've used this super cute gnome stamp from Stamping Bella called "Milk And Cookies"

I'm addicted to gnomes and had to have this little cutie.

I coloured him with my copic markers.

I added some green,white and red striped paper from the Nitwit Collections "All is Calm" to some green cardstock. I wanted it to tie in with the straw.

I then cut out the starry border in green card and added it offset to the image.

Finally I cut out the sentiment die in red card and added it.

Super simple Christmas card!

Cute 

 

I created the background using Fossilised Amber and Vintage Photo Distress Oxides. I used the brick wall stencil over the top. I stamped the Trowel and Fork from the Aall And Create Garden Tools stamp set by Tracy Evans. I restamped the top of the trowel and fork again on an offcut of the background and cut them out. I added them with 3D foam pads to add dimension. I stamped the handles with Memento ink and coloured them with my Copic markers. I also coloured the Aall and Create Gnomes by Janet Klein with my Copics.

I printed the seedling digi x4 and I cut the seedling off leaving the plant pots with 3 of them. I added them all with 3D foam pads and then added the gnomes. I then stamped the snails from the Garden Tools set and added them.

I stamped the Dig word x3. One of them on calico and added to the card. I then added the Work In Progress sentiment with a twine bow and little shovel charm.

To finish off I added white paint splatters with my Posca pen.

I definitely think they're cute!
