Journal Page - Stamping Bella Oddball Flamingos

I've made an art journal page using the Stamping Bella Oddball Flamingos. This is to add to my other pages featuring Oddball Albert and Oddball Edgar. I'm hoping to do a page for each of the oddball stamps I have.

Digital Guest Designer - Whimsy Stamps

I'm delighted to have been asked by the lovely Wends to be a Digital GDT for Whimsy Stamps for the month of July.

For my second project I've made a circle card using the Elania mermaid digi stamp.

I cut my circle background out and using Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean Distress Oxides spritzed with some water on my glass mat, I smooshed the colours on using scrunched up cellophane. Drying it between colours. I then blended the same colours through the bubble stencil using my blending brushes. Once that was done I added some extra colour to the outside of some of the bubbles using the Ecoline waterbrush markers and pulled the colour out with my waterbrush. I then stamped the plants and little circles from the Art By Marlene #47 set in Versafine Clair Monarch. I used my white gel pen and used the stencil to create white circles of varying sizes. I then used my white and violet Posca pens to add some paint splatters.

I coloured the beautiful Elania mermaid with my Copic markers adding highlights with my white gel pen. I mounted her on 3D foam pads and adhered her to the card. I printed out the sentiment from the Whimsy Stamps Best Fishes digital set and added it too. To finish off I added the Bubbles from Little Things from Lucy's Cards

Vera Lane Studio - My Favourite Colour Is Rainbow

 Happy New Year!

Today I'm sharing my Vera Lane Studio DT project which is a journal page, featuring the girl from the Cheers set and the umbrella from the Big Game set. I widened the umbrella slightly in Word.

I've gone for another tone on tone page apart from the pop of colours on the umbrella. I coloured the image with my copic markers adding highlights with my white gel pen. I fussy cut the image out and placed to one side

For my background I blended some Lucky Clover Distress Oxide onto my card using my blending brushes. I then blended some Black Soot Distress Oxide around the edges.

Next I stamped the AALL And Create #443 Scripted Circles stamp all over the background using Rustic Wilderness Distress Oxide. I stamped AALL And Create #352 Circled numbers in Black Soot Distress Oxide randomly around the edges. Next I stamped the numbers from the ALL And Create #211 Count On You stamp set in Lucky Clover Distress Oxide randomly over the background.

I used the lid off a pen and some Paperartsy Fresco Acrylic paint in Snowflake White and stamped some white circles over the background. After that I used some Goosebumps clear texture spray and sprayed in areas over the background. It dried with glossy patches like puddles and tiny drops, giving a watery effect. To finish off the background I added some white paint splatters with my Molotow white acrylic paint pen.

I added a little strip of torn washi tape and adhered my image above it. To finish off I added the "My Favourite Colour Is Rainbow" sentiment.

Sweet Stampin' Challenge

Saturday and time for another

The theme from Team Wendy is
Thank You

For my card I've used some fabulous Aall and Create stamps by Tracy Evans. I brayered Double Denim, Caramel and Vanilla Paperartsy Fresco paints onto my card. I stencilled over it using Snowflake white Paperartsy Fresco paint on an Art By Marlene stencil. Once it was dry I stamped the gorgeous Aall and Create Fritillaria stamp #274 with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink. I stamped some background using the Heartfelt stamp #304 with Salty Ocean  Distress Oxide ink.
I also stamped the word Fritillaria on some book pages and tore it. I then glued it on top of the stamped image in place. I also stamped the Fritillaria head again and coloured with Rusty Hinge Distress Crayon. I then mounted it on a 3D foam pad for dimension.
I then splattered my white Posca paint pen over the whole card.
Finally I stamped the sentiment onto some calico and added to the top left to finish it off.
