Sweet Stampin' Challenge

Saturday and time for another

The theme from Team Wendy is
Use Your Scraps

Let's use up all of those scraps of paper and card we never throw out!

I used some scraps of papers from some of my Nitwit Collections and cut them into squares. I coloured the fabulous hearts from Vera Lane Studio with my Copic markers in shades of pink and grey.
I glued 3 of the squares of paper down and drew round them with my black fineliner. I traced around one to make the 4th box. I then doodled around them. I adhered 3 of the hearts in the squares using 3D foam pads. In the 4th box I glued the pink alpha letters to spell LOVE.
I finished it with some more doodling around the edge of the card and some white gel pen dots on one of the hearts.

T4T Designs - New Year

Happy New Year!

Today is my first blog post of 2019 with my
DT post.

I'm jumping ahead a month to February with a love themed card using the lovely Sweetheart digital stamp. I coloured her with my Copic markers and cut her out. I added a layer of kraft card to my card base and then the patterned heart paper from Fancy Pants. I've had it for years but still love it. I bought a few sheets at the time (as you do!)
I cut the two hearts out using the scalloped heart dies I got in The Works. They have some lovely dies and a great price. I then cut the love scrip word using the Memory Box die and added it to the white heart, and the red velvet heart to the kraft heart. I then trimmed down the doily and added it to the right of the card and mounted the image on 3d foam pads on top.

Sweet Stampin' Challenge

Saturday and another new challenge at

This week the theme from Team Abi is
Spots And Dots

For my card I used a Woodware heart stamp. I stamped and embossed it with pink WOW embossing powder. It has little circles (dots) for adding pearls, gems or card candi. I used different shades of pink pearls and gems. I folded the PP back so the spotty side was showing. The With Love sentiment is from the same Woodware stamp set.

Golden Wedding........

This is a card I was asked to make a few weeks ago.It was to be a special card from 6 girls for a Golden Wedding Anniversary. I decide to make it 8x8 as that's a very special size and I seem to be making quite a few of them lately. I used Papermania Silk Screened Paper (Gold Ornate Metallic).I then took another piece and ran it through the Cuttlebug with the Script embossing folder, tore the edges and inked it to look old.I added a piece of vintage looking lace around it.The hearts were stamped and embossed with gold embossing powder. (I think the stamp is an Anita's one)I matted them onto cream hammered card, punched two eyelets with my Crop-A-Dile and tied a bow between the two with gold ribbon. The 50 chipboard numbers were from a Brenda Pinnick kit that I embossed with gold too.The ivory organza ribbon I ran down the length of the card and added a row of ivory pearls,a bow and two ivory heart shaped pearls. To finish it I wrote the sentiment on the Robo and matted it onto some left over gold card and added two gold brads.

I'd also like to enter this card into Kerry's (A Load Of Old Pickle) blog candy challenge to celebrate 10,000 hits on her blog. Well done Kerry!. The challenge was to make a card using Kerry's favourite crafty essential, which is ribbon.

Thanks for looking
