Sweet Stampin' Challenge

Saturday and time for another

Sweet Stampin' Challenge

The theme from Team Wendy is

Rainbows And Rainy Days

I've made a slimline card for this challenge. I started by using my Ecoline Brush markers and waterbrush to watercolour the rainbow.I then used my cloud stencil and Tumbled Glass distress oxide to ink in the clouds. I then used the Tracey Hey Rainbow Detail stencil and inked the rainbow with it. Next I coloured the elephant and umbrella from the Tracey Hey Together set with my copic markers and cut it out. I then adhered it to the card. I finished by stamping the Katzelkraft Waterfall stamp over the top and embossing with clear embossing powder. To finish off I added the Inkadinkado sentiment.

A Simple Birthday Card

This is a simple card I made for a friends birthday. She loves elephants,so I used a Little Claire elephant stamp and coloured it with my Copics.I used my Copic glitter pens to bling up the flowers a bit.The papers are one of my faves Daisy Buckets Little Black Dress.I've kept the card fairly simple (makes a change for me).Just added a bit of black organza ribbon and some little red flowers.

Well I'm off to try and finish a LO for my scrapbook class at Craftology on Monday. This is the last until after the summer.I don't really post them on here as I know most are cardmakers that pop by so I just stick them on my slide show.I really feel like just putting my feet up though as i'm knackered after doing Body Combat...lol,but I better give myself a shake and get it finished.

Thought I'd add another of my previous projects as I'm planning on having a spring clean today so don't think I'll have much time for crafting, even though I've got Easter cards to make and a couple of birthday cards, one for a 100th Birthday.
These are two cards I made the other day.The first is a Stampendous Changito Happy B'Day monkey stamp and the other is the Penny Black elephant stamp. I love those cute little monkeys. They always look like they're up to mischief.I hope to buy a few more of them.I even recycled some corrugated packing to use on it as it gives a lovely texture. The elephant is just so cute and versatile. I think the stripey paper was a freebie as I can't remember the name of it.I just thought it looked nice and bright and fresh.
