T4T Designs - Beats Bella

Thursday and time for another Time For Tea DT post.

 

Today I'm sharing another one of Jo's new redux versions of an older image.  This is Beats Bella and she's available to buy in the shop.

As I love my rock music I decided to give her funky coloured hair, so went with this lovely teal colour. I printed out my music papers in a teal colour too so I could keep it all coordinated. I cut out the music frame and offset it on my card to the left and trimmed the excess off. The Music cut file I cut out in a darker teal cardstock x3 and glued them together to give some height. The LOTV sentiment which was perfect and a few little hearts to finish it off.

Inspired By A Song

For my card I've used this sweet digi stamp from Time For Tea Designs called "Hugs"

The song I've chosen for my inspiration is from my favourite boy band...Def Leppard (and the reason for my blog title) called Miss You In A Heartbeat. I wanted to give her a funky rockchick look so coloured her hair with some red in it. I stamped the wings and heat embossed them in white and added the fab heart button. The words were cut on my ScanNCut.

This week the theme from Team Abi is

Fairies/Fantasy 

 

For my project I decided to make a 12x12 sized piece that I can frame. As I love rock music I went with a fantasy rock/music theme. I used the fab unicorn digi from Make It Crafty and coloured it in deep red and black on the mane and tail. I added a few music notes on it's flank.The 12x12 music paper is from Best Creation and glittery. I sprinkled some white embossing enamel on it and heat embossed it so it has little white dots over it. I also heat embossed the Graphic 45 wings and added a red heart button. I printed the music quote on my PC and the word Rock is cut on my ScanNCut out of black glitter card. The other embellishments are from Best Creation.

Well here goes for the first of my layouts. I'm not uploading them in the order I did them as I can't remember. Seeing as it's a blog about my love of crafting and of rock music,I'll start with two layouts I did for fun as a sort of tribute to two of my favourite bands.They both kind of speak for themselves. A few people have commented to me before that they recognise my style. I didn't realise I had a style! Probably cluttered I think as when I try to do simple layouts they never look finished. Hope you like them. I've been so happy as they both announced a joint tour in the UK this year,so my tickets for June 17th at the SECC are now in my possession. Joe Elliott and David Coverdale in one room....yippeeeeee!!
