Sweet Stampin Challenge

Saturday and time for another

Sweet Stampin' Challenge

The theme from Team Wendy is

Masculine

I've used this bowling image from Just Inklined and coloured it with my copic markers. I matted my papers onto my card base and added the bowling image. I then die cut the Penny Black Happy Birthday die and added it to the top right of the card. I cut out the name using a Sizzix Tim Holtz alphabet and then cut it out with a banner die. To finish off I cut out the 60 with Memory Box number dies.

Sweet Stampin' Challenge

Saturday and time for another

Sweet Stampin' Challenge

Father's Day

Show us your masculine makes!

I've made this nerdy male card using the Einstein stamp from a Danish company called Crafty Anni. Their genius range is fantastic. I coloured him with my copic markers and fussy cut him out. The background is a printed toner sheet also from Crafty Anni. They make great fast backgrounds for cards. All I had to do was stamps some splats in green and brown using an AALL & Create stamp and the E=MC2 from a Bert And Gert's stamp set. I finished by matting it onto some green card.

Sweet Stampin' Challenge

 Saturday and time for another

Sweet Stampin' Challenge

The theme from Team Wendy is

Masculine

To make the background I spritzed water on some Distress Oxides in Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean and Blueprint Sketch. I smooshed my card in each colour individually making sure it was dry between each colour. I did this until I was happy with the look. I then stamped the music section from the main stamp (AALL & Create Vocalist) in Versafine Clair Nocturne black. I also used part of the Splodge stamp and stamped it in black. I then used the Reverse Stars stamp and stamped it in Blueprint Sketch randomly over the background.

Next I took the main panel and did the same only this time I didn't use the music section but used the Scripted Stars instead. I also inked around the edge with Blueprint Sketch to make it stand out more. I then stamped the whole Vocalist stamp in the middle using Versafine Clair Nocturne. I took my blue watercolour brush marker and coloured the guitar and cassette tape pulling the colour out. To finish the panel I splattered some Molotow white acrylic paint over it.
I cut out the Whimsy Happy die in black card and cut the Birthday on my ScanNCut. I adhered them in place. To finish off I added the sentiment and name using a mini alphabet.

This week the challenge from Team Abi is
Masculine Cards

Our fantastic sponsor this week is
Quixotic Paperie

I'm not a big fan of making male cards but as I love rock music I have a few sets of stamps and dies that are rock themed and so perfect for male cards. I used a grunge stamp and stamped some areas using distress ink.I also used a hessian effect mask and inked it with distress inks too.The guitars are die cuts and I finished it off with two different sets of sentiments.

Sentiments - Paper Smooches and MFT Document It Rock On
Dies - MFT Blueprints 13 and MFT Accent It Rock and Roll
Mask - Dutch Doobadoo Hessian
Tim Holtz Distress Inks
