Sweet Stampin' Challenge

Saturday and time for another

The theme from Team Wendy is
Wonderful Women

To celebrate International Women's Day, create an inspiring card for a woman you love/admire.

For my card I've gone with Frida Kahlo, the famous Mexican painter. She was famous for her many self portraits and works inspired by the nature and artifacts of her native country.

I've used this fab image from Vera Lane Studio from a set called Coyoacan which is where she was from in Mexico. I coloured her with my copic markers in the bright colours she was known for.
The papers are from Nitwit Collections and were perfect for using along with her. Her love of nature and bright colours with lots of flowers and foliage.

I decoupaded the flowers around the frame to give it some depth. I printed the quote on my Pc and doodled around the edges. I attached it with 3D foam pads.
