Well it's more of a retirement card. The headteacher at Louis school is retiring so it's a thank you/retirement card. I decided to make another faux book as it would be perfect for holding a book token. The sunflower is made using the Spellbinders create a flower dies.

I've paper pieced her dress with pale blue Centura Pearl card and her cape with snowflake embossed vellum.I then attacked it with lots of glitter to make her sparkle.The rest is coloured with Copic Markers.

Abi Ballerina

This is my first card made using an All Dressed Up image,even though I've bought a few.This one is actually a freebie from their Facebook page. I absolutely love the new Papermania Eau De Nil papers and have been itching to use them,so thought this lovely little ballerina would be perfect for them. I've coloured her with the BG copic markers and as always blinged her tutu with my Wink Of Stella glitter pen.

Cheeky Bubbles Chester

I've had this card 80% finished for the last week or so and finally got it finished.Mainly because I started another 2 male cards and was still in male mode.This'll be the 4th male card.....go me!!
I've used the Little Miss Muffet digi called Bubbles Chester who I just love.He's such a cute wee chap.

Sugar Bowl GD

A few weeks ago I won The Sugar Bowl challenge and the lovely Fiona asked if I'd like to be Guest Designer for this challenge. I was delighted to take part as I've been a Sugar Nellie fan practically since they started.I'm using the Diane Duda image To The Moon which is available from the shop. Usually I steer clear of male cards,but I really loved this image and really enjoyed making this card. I've went overboard with my Wink Of Stella glitter pen which is my new favourite.You can't make much of it out but I used it round the edge of the card,on the punched stars and on the rocket. As always the Sugar Bowl Sweeties have done a fantastic job.

Princess And A Cat

That was the brief I was given for making this 21st birthday card.She likes princesses and cats,so this image from Saturated Canary was perfect. I decorated the inside and made a matching box. I embossed the white card with the embossing folder,then cut up squares of patterned paper and stuck them down and then ran it through the embossing folder again to get the patchwork effect. It was quite easy to line up again as it has a stitched effect.

This Saturday and Sunday I'll be demonstrating at Craftworld in Hillington.It's their twice yearly Craft Extravaganza.Ten demonstrators demoing lots of different products.This time I'll be showcasing Tattered Lace dies.

 Now I'm more of a coloured image type of card maker,so making cards using just dies was really taking me out my comfort zone.I did manage to sneak in a couple with Hobby House pre coloured toppers. (phewwww).

Thursday night is crafty night at the cabin with my friend Susan,so I've got a chocolate and orange marble cake in the oven at the moment to have with our tea later.Will post a picture when it's ready. If it tastes as good as it smells it should be yummy!

Piano Card

I saw some similar type cards to this on Pinterest and thought they were really nice.I already had a template for making a 3D piano so used that to make this. It's something a bit different. I hand cut all the keys,but since then I've bought the Memory Box die of the piano keys so should be easier to make.The papers are BoBunny.

Aurora Wings

I only recently came across these wonderful digi stamps.I love fantasy art and these were just perfect. I really do love this first card which is unusual for me. It's not even a colour I'd usually use,so it's now my blog header.

I've always been a huge Sugar Nellie fan. I just love all the stamps they produce and even better they are a Scottish company.So it's a joy to support and buy from them. Easter Basket

I saw a tutorial for making a little Easter Basket using the We R Memory Keeper's Envelope Punch Board HERE and decided to give it a go. I cut out my doilies using a die instead of pre made ones. The bow at the top of the handle was also made using the punch board.
