The theme from Team Wendy is

 New Year/New Start/Hogmanay

 

A nice quick New Year's card from me today. I used this freebie image and coloured it with my copic markers. 

Aren't the little mice so sweet?

I cut them out with my stitched rectangles and mounted them on a lilac card base.

I printed out the sentiment on the PC and cut it out with my stitched banners and added it to the top left.

A simple little card to finish off this year's challenges.

The theme from Team Wendy is

Blue And White

(To celebrate St.Andrew's Day in Scotland )

Today is St.Andrew's Day here in Scotland so we want to see your blue and white creations to celebrate our patron saint's day.

I used another fab image from Vera Lane Studio called The Traveler. I coloured her with my copic markers and added some doodles with my white gel pen.

I printed out The Saltire (Flag of St.Andrew) to use as my background. I mounted my image with 3D foam pads in the bottom right corner. Next I added the luggage tag and You Are Here from the Journey set from Nitwit Collections, adding Scotland as the destination.

To finish off I printed out some of the words from Caledonia by Dougie MacLean.

Perfect for the little traveler going home!

Sweet Stampin' Challenge

 

The theme from Team Wendy is

Bright And Beautiful

 

Let us see your bright and beautiful creations!

 

I've used these fab two sets from Vera Lane Studio called Lightning Bug and Blooms. I've coloured them all with my copic markers.

I made the inky background using Twisted Citron, Spiced Marmalade and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxides. I spritzed them with water on my mat and smooshed the card in it a few times.

Once it was dry I stamped the flowers with white gesso and twisted citron.

I them stamped the leaves using the AALL and Create #117 stamp and added the large flower head.

I then stuck down the other flower, fairy and lightning bug. Isn't he just the cutest?

I finished of with some doodling with my black fineliner and white gel pen.

It's definitely bright!
